We all are or should be concerned with
our health and what we are putting into our bodies.
Getting ourselves taken care of by a
medical professional, whether an AMA physician, or a holistic
practitioner, is one of the most important things we can do to
maintain health and happiness. It's really too bad that people
ignore this very important part of their lives because of cost,
fear, or just plain inconvenience.
Healthy eating choice is one of the
biggest problems facing our modernized, fast-food oriented society.
With so many of us on the run, how do we find time to make healthy
choices? Isn't it easier to get that Super Mondo Wonder
Burrito at Super Mondo Burger, just around the corner from work, for
a quick lunch, than to make it ourselves? Unless you know
exactly what's in that belly buster, it's not the wisest choice.
If you really must eat something from
Super Mondo Burger or its ilk, be sure to ask if they have
nutritional information handy at their shop and if they do, read it
carefully. Personally, I would be reluctant to eat at a place
that didn't have nutritional information close at hand. Find
out what is considered a serving (BK says a serving of their
signature sandwich is HALF the burger, and that's about 700
calories, right there) Did you realize you were jamming over
1400 calories into your mouth at lunch, not including the soda and
fries?
