Pagans and the Law
Recently, there have been several
relatively high profile cases relating to the Pagan community, among
them, Darla K Wynn's battle against the Great Falls SC council's
outright refusal to allow nonChristian invocations before meetings,
which resulted in a the United States Supreme Court refusing the
hear the case, and the case of the divorcing Wiccan parents who were
told by the sitting Judge that they were not allowed to teach their
son about their faith.
We know that it's difficult, if not
impossible sometimes, to find an attorney who will represent you in
cases that may be difficult, as evidenced by the above mentioned
case with the Wiccan parents. By creating these attorney
listings, we hope to ease your search for representation that will
already have an idea of what they are getting into when you call.
We at Goddess Moon Circles are working
hard to find Pagan and Pagan-friendly attorneys and other legal
professionals who are willing to have their listing information
included on this website.
If you are a Pagan-friendly
attorney or paralegal, please send us your listing information, and we will
include you in our attorney and legal professional listings.
This is an important outreach to us, and we would appreciate all the
help you can possibly offer. In time, as listings permit, we
will begin to separate listings into particular specialties, for
ease of navigation.
