I was talking with a clergy-sister last night about how our lives have been
changed since embracing the idea of Goddess Moon Circles.
It has been through no conscious choice of our own. It seems as though
the Goddess is helping us to work through our own blockages and deadwood,
helping us to find a more focused path upon which to walk. It's been
amazingly painless, by the way. The shedding of those negative aspects of
our lives has been relatively simple, and without tears. We've found a
strength we never knew we had, in fact. What an amazing thing!
I spend a great amount of time on the website every day, working to make sure
the links operate, the pages are timely, and adding material as inspiration
hits, or as people send in new material for us to add to the Goddess Moon
Circles website. I want to state here how grateful I am to those people
who take time out of their day to compose something for Goddess Moon Circles, or
even to send on pertinent information. You are very special people, and
you know who you are. Your submissions and information are what make
Goddess Moon Circles the place and resource that we are.
My clergy-sister and I have found a peace within ourselves that we didn't
know existed. A center that we didn't know was available to us. It
has allowed us to ground ourselves and be in touch with the Great Mother on an
even more personal basis than we knew was possible.
We're both continuing to study every day. Just because one becomes
clergy and is Ordained does not mean the study ends. Being Pagan clergy
requires continuous study and growth, otherwise we become hidebound and narrow-minded.
The Pagan community is so diverse that it is important to learn about as many
Paths as one can in order to be effective clergy. Our respective libraries
are quite large, as a matter of fact, and continue to grow as we we continue to
study and grow.
Eventually, I imagine people will speak of the Goddess Moon Tradition.
I doubt that will be soon, but it will happen in time. I entertain the
fervent hope that we will continue to grow and be available all over the country
for people. We daily receive contact from people in every state, needing
services, and have to let them down gently. It's not something we enjoy
doing. We'd love to be able to tell them that we have a clergy member
nearby and direct them to that person. But until that day comes, we will
do the best we can.
If you are interested in becoming clergy, we'd love to hear from you.
Brightest blessings,
