Do you offer a cover school for my area?

Yes!  GMCA offers a cover school for those needing it under our church.  This cover school applies in most areas.  Although we cannot offer classes to the residents of Minnesota at this time.

If I don't need a cover school, do I still have to pay the $50 fee for grade school, and additional fees for Jr. high and High School?

Yes.  The reason for this is because the teachers still are available in a teaching capacity to each student whether they are under the cover/umbrella school or not.  Our teachers deserve compensation for their time and availability.

Can I buy just the books or subjects I wish or is this curriculum a package?

At this time, our curriculum is a packaged one.  Individual subject books or texts are not available separately.  Goddess Moon Circles Academy may in the future bind the curriculum and sell certain curriculums separately.  But currently, we don't feel as though that is the primary goal of our academy.

Why, on the online registration form, do you need my child's social security number?  

This number only acts like a student I.D. within our academy.  You will find many, many colleges and universities using the same numerical system.

What if I'm not comfortable sending the social security number online?

If sending your child's social security number online makes the parent or guardian uncomfortable, please send it to us via snail mail.  You can find our mailing address on our main page as well as on several GMCA pages.

What about your teachers?

Our teachers have either homeschooled or had experience teaching children for a minimum of one year.  Many of our teachers are ordained Pagan clergy.  Those not ordained hold a degree or have unschooled themselves through college and are educated with the equivalent experience and knowledge.

When will the curriculum samples be ready?

Samples will be ready in August for preview.  If you have a special deadline for which you need to meet for your area, please contact Rev. Michele at treespeaker@goddessmoon.org with your deadline and she will do everything in her ability to see your deadline is met.
