Goddess
Beautiful, athletic, virginal Maiden
Loving, nurturing, eternal Mother
Wise, calm, compassionate Crone
Lady, Mother, Grandmother, Goddess
Embracing me within
Your silver rays
Holding me when I need Your comfort
Reassuring me when I need Your guidance
You warm my heart with Your love
You cleanse my soul with Your care
Keeping the doubt away
Showing me that love is perfect
and eternal
Thank you for the love I am surrounded by
Always knowing You are here
All around me
Holding me in Your boundless arms
Making me feel love
Reassuring me that I am safe
Always

Moonlight
Tender, softly glowing
Moonlight
Caressing my face
and body
Rays of soft silver touching
loving
Me.
Soft as thought
Clean as light
My Mistress calls to
Me
I
Answer
Baring my body to Her cleansing
Self
Exhilaration
Courses through
My body
My soul cries out
to become One
With Her
How to achieve my
Goal?
Try as I might
I am unable to meet
Her
Crying
She falls from
The sky
Tomorrow
She will come
again
And our mutual
Love
And anguish
Will repeat
Endlessly

Morning
Frigid air
Muted birdsong
So cold the leaves can't whisper
Freshness, purity
A sanitary new day
Unsullied by noise
A golden time of silence
Frozen, fragile cheeks
Yearning for Sun's first kiss
Arms about you in a lover's embrace

Oceans of rolling grass
Tickling against bare ankles
Robin's egg sky
With golden yolk glowing high above
Open land
as far as eyes can
see
No building, pole or vehicle
only the serenity of Nature
Calm, patient, omnipotent
Of all these things we
seek to control
Nature flits, laughing, from Man's grasp
Her play is peaceful in Spring rains
Deadly in typhoon
This Mother of All
Gentle as a fledgling
Raging with Her wrath
Seek to control Her?
Not I.

This morning I awakened
With a song upon my lips
I could hear the birds in harmony
With what swelled within my head
For I knew without the telling
That Peace was here at last
Not just peace between our countries
But Peace 'tween black and white
Brown and red and every other
Who've ever had a fight
Religion just a word
With a crazy definition
And the only care at hand:
Our deadly weapons' disposition
Oh why must we consider
Peace so far away
Just because our countrys' leaders
Say there is no earthly way
That to solve our basic differences
Our minds must think the same
Our God attend a single Church
And have a single Name
Why can't we have a harmony
Each separate thought a part
Of the greater Song within us
Which now hums within our hearts
I can't believe deep in my core
That Peace is far away
And so I sing my piece of Song
Each moment of every day

*~* My Oath To You *~*
by
Jonathan Butts
When you are sad,
I will dry your tears.
When you are scared,
I will comfort your fears.
When you are worried,
I will give you hope.
When you are confused,
I will help you cope.
And when you are lost,
And can't see the light.
I shall be your beacon
Shining ever so bright
This is my oath.
I pledge till the end.
Why you may ask?
Because you're my friend.

A Promise To Myself
I walk into a journey I do not
know,
but I know the path is right.
The
goddess
guides me where I go with a pure white light.
The warmth, the
peace,
I shall not leave 'cause it does sustain
me.
I'm whole, I'm one,
with what I am,
and I shall not change it,
for if I do I will deny myself
the warmth, the peace and happiness
that is there for me.
